Single? No Problem. 



Maslow's Hierarchy of needs tells us that at some point of a person's life we feel the need to belong and need for intimacy.
 

So, it follows by nature that people seek a partner who can satisfy this need.
Thus, getting into a relationship and eventually settling down is a natural occurrence in a person's life.
 

However, some people can't be more happy living free from the dramas and complications brought about by relationships.
Here are some of the reasons why some women nowadays choose to stay single:
 

The Perks Of Singlehood :
 

1. Time Control
 

You own your time. You can spend it any way you want. It can be frustrating sometimes when you cannot join office gatherings or meet friends just because you have to spend that day with you lover and you cannot cancel that date because it is your anniversary or it is his mother's, sister's or grandfather's birthday.
 

Of course, you recognize the fact that his family will soon become your family, too. You love them, too. It is a question again of priorities.
 

2. Financial Security
 

Yup, it started as a simple date, a dinner, regular weekend hang out, then presents for anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas then fare allowance, etc.  If you add up all of these you can actually save fare money for an overseas trip.
 

3. Less Drama
 

Relationships nowadays are full of drama. Because of the influence of Social Media, people are more prideful. There is more jealousy and temptation which could lead to petty arguments and lovers' quarrels which are insanely a waste of time and energy.
 

4. Mother-in-Law Worries
 

You find your Prince Charming. It seems like a fairy-tale with a happy ending but you forgot there is always a villain in every story.
 

Mothers-in-law are just hard to please sometimes. In some ｃountries, mother-in-laws often cause misunderstandings between the couple. No wonder some movies play around the plot of mother-in-law-villain-daughter-in-law protagonist.
 

5. Freedom
 

There is no need for you to change your plans, dreams and morals. You don't have to change for someone or better yet you are not forced to change just to fit the box designed by your partner.
 

Finding Mr. Right is a dream come true but then again some people are just not made for relationships.
 

They shine better alone.
