Japan preparing against Chinese aggression

Japan is preparing for military aggression by China in 10-20 years and is integrating its army, air force and navy units in preparation for such a possibility, the Sankei newspaper reported Jan. 1.

It is apparent that the Japanese government is using the possibility of external aggression as an excuse to build up its military power.

According to the report, the Japanese military, which is defensive in nature under international agreements, is integrating its forces in preparation for a possible takeover of Senkaku Islands.

Plans of retaliation include the gathering of information f the military power in China, Russia and North Korea and what steps need to be taken in the deployment of military equipment.

This is one of the military strategies adopted by the new government of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe who is generally seen as an ultra-rightist.

The possibilities that the Japanese government is looking at is the invasion of the Shinkaku Islands, the takeover of the islands as well as those around it and an assault on Taiwan.

As an initial step, it will deploy 2,200 marines to the Shinkaku region to prepare for any sudden developments.

At the same time, steps are being taken to ward off armed infiltration by guerilla units from foreign sources on nuclear power generation facilities.
